What are your stewardship practices?
Here are just a few of the things we do...
Our massage lotion - Magic Goo - is handmade by Ariana Orton. It is made from wildcrafted and/or organically grown herbs which we buy locally - from Essential Elements Apothecary in Sellwood, because the owner, Carmella Cook, cares deeply about high quality herbs and sustainability and the care and feeding of our only planet.
Ariana lives close enough to the office that most days she walks, cutting down on the amount of gasoline expended by a commute.
Jon does his best to schedule his patients in clusters so he drives back and forth as little as possible.
Our cleaning supplies are made with potent germ fighting essential oils. In fact, you could eat most of them. Not that we would recommend that. But we feel that if we have to be in contact with them several times a day, they should be effective, but safe for our bodies and your body too.
Our linen service is very nearby, so no gasoline has to be expended to transport the linens to and from the wash facility. Linens are laundered using biodegradable, earth friendly detergents.
